Taqueria El Mercadito used to be just El Mercadito. We first opened our doors in December 1998 as a small carniceria, where we sold fresh meats, groceries, produce, as well as tacos, tamales, and menudo. In October 2014 we decided to close our carniceria and re open as a fast casual restaurant, maintaining the menu items that gave our original business life, but also adding some new items to further improve our service. We now sell a variety of foods including burritos, tortas, quesadillas, and of course meat by the pound. We are now located at 275 Suite-2 Pearl Nix Pkwy, Gainesville, Ga 30501, diagonally across from the Lakeshore Mall. Please come in and give us a try!
